Travel hair really doesn't need to be a whole thing
Okay, guys, you love a tutorial and I love doing them. To make hairstyling less overwhelming and more fun was a huge reason I started CLOSE FRIENDS in the first place!! So, on this recent trip to Los Angeles, I wanted to take you with me — and instead of a single “look”, I thought it could be fun to tackle something a little more intimidating, TRAVEL HAIR. I think we all get caught up in perfect hair days, a look for each moment, or all our normal daily styling rituals, and we forget we can break our routine and play around a little! Even on a trip where I am traveling for HAIR, I want to make sure not to take my getting ready in the morning too seriously. To me, having an easy carry-on is far more important than bringing all of my favorite products and tools from home.
This video is part hair tutorial, part GRWM, and part diary, to be honest. For four days you will wake up with me in my hotel room and will see how I go from bedhead to out the door with a couple of tricks and no fancy tools from home. I really only travel with a couple of multi-purpose products and really utilize what hotels provide — are you shocked?? Buckle up! It keeps life interesting!! This video will be especially helpful to all my bang girlies out there who are hoping to tame 2/3 day bangs without a full wash — because there is nothing like fringe to keep you humble in the morning. Beyonce clearly did not have bangs when she woke up like this, OKAY? But it is possible to have chic bangs without a full re-style, I promise.
